Splintered Sun is a Differences in the Family Tree (DITFT) challenge.
It is a serious, mature and story-driven attempt of the challenge and, with that in mind, I was to be absolutely clear that there will be adult content, including sexual situations, drugs and violence. Please bear this in mind before starting to read.
I was inspired to start Splintered Sun after reading two wonderful DITFTs: A Rolling Stone Gathers No Moss and Let It Be. If you haven’t already read them, I recommend you do. :)
I will try and update as much as possible, and will do my best to keep you guys informed about any delays! Bear with me!

I’m sorry if this insults you but are you MAD? I struggle with the Woods and working on the Crumplebottom’s but you have 3 now.
I probably am mad, yes. :P But I’ve wanted to do this for a long time, so I think it’ll be all right. XD Especially as it’s the summer now.
Yes, I know I’m working on the Wood update as well. Also adding this to my bookmarks now and will probably go onto my Legacy Links quickly.

Aw, thanks. :) I’m very excited because I have plots forming in my head. It’ll be nice to have two serious legacies with different plot lines going on. ^^ Plotting for one all the time can get a bit much. XD

It’s a bit different here in England ’cause we don’t do majors and minors, but I’m doing my degree in Creative Writing. :) And it’s not at all creepy, don’t worry. :)

No, it’s a default replacement skin so it shouldn’t be attached and shouldn’t eat your skins. She’ll just be black. And I think there is one of me on the sims3 website, but it’s an old version.
I’m not sure how to get rid of custom skins you get off the exchange. :c Maybe by uninstalling the sim you got them from? I have so many non-default skins now it takes me forever to scroll through them all, haha. I don’t know why they eat yours – you should just be able to scroll down. :c
